AreaArea![]()
SynopsisSelect a polygon or a conic and obtain its area. CautionThe area of a hyperbola is a complex number. The contribution of a point to the area of a polygon is calculated with respect to its "winding" number. In particular, areas may become negative if the polygon is oriented clockwise. If the polygon is self-intersecting, areas may be zero. You can measure the area of triangles in CindyScript using the area function.
